I absolutely love when I get to photograph a pregnant mama’s radiant beauty while she is creating life – and meet her new bundle of joy for newborn sessions as well. It is a special kind of experience, and I am so honored to be a part of a growing family’s journey.
This maternity session with Kelly was absolutely flawless. She truly knows how to rock the majestic mama look, and was the perfect model for this fabulous, flowing gown.
This is not Kelly’s first pregnancy – she has two boys who are extremely excited to welcome a new baby brother to the family.
I had the pleasure of photographing her son Teddy’s photos two years ago, and I was so thrilled when Kelly asked me to take photos of Wyatt as well. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching a loving family grow.
We had a blast doing her maternity session and trying different maternity gowns. The studio’s bright and airy vibes made one look so angelic and peaceful, and the dark backdrop with the flowing red maternity gown made for a strong and powerful look.
Enter: Wyatt.
Adorable, so sweet, and such a beautiful baby.
Wyatt was so sleepy throughout his session, which made for some great photos. I am so happy I caught this perfect yawn.
He did open his tiny eyes for a bit to show some personality, but went right back to sleep – so calm and cozy. He loved being swaddled and seeing the lights in the studio.
Wyatt’s parents signed up for the baby plan, so I get to see him again for a 6 month and a one year session! I can’t wait to see this bundle of joy again, but I won’t rush it because I know time moves way too quickly and newborn babies grow so fast.
It looks like brothers, mom, and dad are in love!
